Our family-owned company develops innovative connectors for window construction, furniture making, and even timber construction using sustainable and, in some cases, renewable materials that are easy to assemble and disassemble. With the resulting connection systems, we at Knapp Connectors implemented the circular principle long before the term even existed.

For architecture to have a future, it must be resilient. It must be sustainable, made of materials capable of circular use, climate-friendly, and adaptable to new requirements. This requires connection systems that meet the demands of repurposing, reuse construction, and circular building. With this goal in mind, we have developed an extensive range of connection systems that can creatively, circularly, and sustainably solve diverse construction and structural tasks.

Knapp Connectors are easy and quick to assemble in prefabrication, swiftly placed on-site, and easily dismantled. They are reusable, recyclable, and upcycling-capable, allowing building components from furniture to building envelopes to be effortlessly modified, taken apart, and rebuilt as needed. The materials are high-quality, durable, and, for example, the wood construction nail Mateo and the bed frame connectors SOLID, even partially made from renewable resources.
