Architecture forum

As part of FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024, AIT-Dialog curatined the Architecture-Window-Facade Forum for the 11th time, which was aimed specifically at architects and planners. The focus was on specialist lectures by internationally renowned experts, which were held under the motto "re:buildable".
The lectures took place on 21 March 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room St. Petersburg in the NCC Ost exhibition center.
The participation was free of charge.



A special highlight was the Guided Tours for architects and planners of selected exhibitors, which was offered on two days for the first time in 2024.

NEW: Guided Tours for architects and planners

Moderated by renowned architects, the Guided Tours allowed visitors to gain a special insight into the solutions, the focus topics and to swiftly network with the exhibitors.
The guided tours took around two hours each and were free of charge.
The meeting point was the NCC Ost exhibition center.

The main topics

  • "With system: modular - serial", Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 3 to 5 p.m.
    Around 10 exhibitors were selected from the fields of modular construction, serial and systemic construction and prefabrication.
  • "In existing buildings: renovate - convert", Thursday, March 21, 2024, 3 to 5 p.m.
    Presented were exhibitors who offer solutions in terms of sustainability in the areas of durability, flexibility, resource conservation, retrofitting, accessibility/threshold-free transitions, circular construction and renewable and/or recyclable materials.

Both Tours were fully booked!

Information on participation

Registered day participants received the current AIT issue as well as the documentation of the forum in book form (approximately 100 pages) for the event. The book includes a detailed presentation of the forum contributions, supplemented with additional information on the topic. 

With registration for the lectures and/or guided tours, you each received a free day ticket. Some chambers of architects and town planners award further education credits for the Architecture-Window-Facade Forum. After the event, you received a certificate of participation.
