About us

The VEKA success story illustrates how sustainable a good idea can be. The company began to manufacture energy-saving window profiles made of PVC-U in 1969 – and is now the global market leader in this area. The VEKA partners have a significant part to play in this success. And as the processors of pioneering products in first-class quality, they benefit in particular from a unique partner concept with which VEKA places the focus on long-term collaboration for the good of everyone involved.

The systems supplier now generates annual sales of over 1.5 billion euros with almost 50 subsidiaries on four continents. Some 7,000 employees around the world, of which 1,500 alone work at the company headquarters in Sendenhorst, Westphalia, play their part in VEKA partners being able to offer all clients pioneering products of first-class quality. In spite of this development, VEKA AG remains a 100% family-owned enterprise that uses all resources carefully on the basis of a well-grounded understanding of values.

Its comprehensive sustainability approach is evidenced by its pioneering role in recycling: VEKA was already blazing a trail for recycling back in 1993 by demonstrating that PVC-U from window profiles could practically be recovered as single-stream waste and be fed into the production of new profiles without any loss of quality. The VEKA Recycling Group now operates three recycling plants in Europe, which are among the largest and most modern of their kind and that help to guarantee supplies of raw materials. The VEKA partners benefit from this efficient network directly too as the convenient recycling service saves them both time and money.

VEKA additionally safeguards the basis for joint success with industry-defining innovations. The systems supplier regularly adds new products to its portfolio that are ahead of future trends, thereby giving the VEKA partners a valuable competitive edge. Once again this year, VEKA will be presenting an array of innovations at its generously sized, open trade fair stand.

  • VEKA Fine Structure: VEKA’s new line of decorative foils bears a strong resemblance to powder-coated aluminium windows in terms of both look and feel. The fine surfaces go wonderfully with modern architectural styles such as the popular industrial look in which all kinds of materials and surface structures are mixed and matched for high contrast. VEKA Fine Structure is currently available in eight popular trend colours.
  • VEKAMOVE 76: the new slide system is ideal for realising space-saving room concepts, for example in multi-storey commercial and private buildings. VEKAMOVE 76 is characterised by a peripheral centre seal that features as standard, which guarantees excellent imperviousness coupled with modern insulation values. The system is therefore an advantageous alternative to conventional parallel slide-and-tilt elements.
  • VEKA PURE 82: the new profile system with a geometric look appeals to design-conscious house owners with an eye for clear lines. Minimalist in looks and almost square in cross section, VEKA Pure 82 boasts an excellent U-value for modern energy conservation.
  • VEKAFAST: the in-front-of-wall installation system presents the optimum solution for two-stage installation. Perfectly tailored to the VEKA window systems, VEKAFAST allows for the time-saving prefabrication of entire frames in the workplace, including with welded corner joints. At the construction site, the system allows for the exact and reliable placement of window elements at the insulation level.
  • VEKA threshold: the new threshold concept for new builds and modernisations makes it possible for various different thresholds to be realised, including entirely barrier-free ones. At the same time, all the latest requirements regarding construction waterproofing are met. Its development was focused on compatibility, enabling cross-system thresholds to be produced using a high proportion of the same parts.
