Flawless glass bead attachment with FIXclip Profiles – Easy and Swift Installation

To enhance the fitting tolerance of glass beads, connector expert Knapp has optimized the FIXclip Profile GLE20 with soft clamping ribs and a larger V-shaped screw and nail groove. This ensures a secure and faster assembly, along with non-destructive disassembly.

With three sizes and six variants, the FIXclip Profile series is the perfect solution for any sealing and fastening challenge in wooden and wood/aluminum windows and doors. Fixed glazing and lift-slide elements can be flawlessly glazed using FIXclip Profiles.

Introducing the new GLE20 N rail variant to the market, featuring an enhanced version: soft, rounded clamping ribs and an easy-locking mechanism simplify the installation and optimize system stability. If needed, the glass beads can be easily removed and disassembled without causing damage. A built-in, enlarged V-shaped screw and nail groove ensures a flush and continuous connection in the profile, eliminating the need to pre-sink screw heads. This streamlines the process and reduces the potential for errors. Lastly, the new rails allow for greater tolerances.

GLE20 N is ideal for glass thicknesses ranging from 17-20 mm, and recommended screw sizes are CS screws 3x20 mm or wire nails 1.2 x 25 mm.

FIXclip Profile – where highest aesthetics meet efficient workflow – is available in three sizes: GLE20, GLE17 (both with soft clamping ribs), and GLE18 – each in six variants.

A matching router for precise profile geometry is also offered.

The progenitor of the series is the plastic glass and profile bead holder. The FIXclip connector is easily attached to the window rebate with two small nails and, alternatively, can be screwed in for high load requirements.

With FIXclip, glass panes and fillings are secured in windows and doors without damaging the various profile beads through traditional nailing. The FIXclip Profile connector is used not only in standard wooden windows but also in fixed-glazed wood/wood and wood/aluminum windows.

Due to the diverse applications and different dimensions of profile beads, FIXclip is available in three sizes. For instance, FIXclip H12 and H16 are used for entrance doors and wooden window glass beads, while FIXclip H20 is suitable for larger glass beads in wood-aluminum fixed glazing.

Other applications include securing glass fillings in room door light openings, crown and bead strips, in fitted kitchens, and almost any other profile strip fastening.

The FIXclip system, based on a snap-on principle, has been tested at the ift Rosenheim for wind (Class C5 – EN 12210), impact (Class 3 – EN 13049), and shear, exhibiting excellent performance values.
