1308.20

Our HMPUR 1308.20 adhesive is synonymous with longevity (long life). It is recommended for bonding plastic foils intended for outdoor use on PVC and aluminium window profiles. 1308.20 was developed especially for those countries where window profiles are exposed to climates with high humidity and heat. Our laboratory has tested the 1308.20 adhesive according to the RAL 716 methodology of the GKFP (Gütegemeinschaft Kunststoff-Fensterprofilsysteme e.V.), confirming after hydrolysis tests a very high weathering resistance, normally twice as high as traditional HMPUR adhesives.

The 1308.20 has been formulated for laminating PVC and aluminium profiles and panels with slot nozzle application, where a high initial tack is required. This feature is appreciated to ensure during lamination processes, the perfect adhesion of the new generation of plasticizer-free (rigid) foils on more complicated geometries and at high processing speeds.

1308.20 is available in the 1308.20F (FAST) version with fast cross-linking. The chemical cross-linking time of the adhesive in this case will be about 24 hours, an important parameter for welding profiles after 24 hours after lamination or for shipping and storage in cold environments with low relative humidity.
