Since its founding in 1974, ALUKON has become one of the leading suppliers of roller shutters, roller doors, sun protection and insect repelling systems in Europe. What began as a regional craft enterprise with three employees in a small warehouse has today grown into a state-of-the-art medium-sized industrial enterprise with over 500 employees based at two sites and a production area of 48,000 m². The broad product range, paired with an unusually large vertical range of manufacture, allows for a large number of variants that even meets very unusual customer requirements. The intelligent modular structure of the products and the coordinated manufacturing and logistics processes allow customers to source products from every stage of the manufacturing process. Depending on their own capacity utilisation, production options and marketing concepts, customers can decide whether they want to purchase individual system components, semi-finished or finished components. The company supplies the European markets with its own high-performance fleet of trucks. ALUKON offers its partners extensive marketing and sales support as well as product training at the ALUKON Academy.

The large number of patents as well as the ongoing investments in production, warehousing and logistics show that innovations in products and processes are important.

Continuous growth over the last decades and a successful training concept have led to a very homogeneous employee structure: an optimal mix of experience, curiosity and drive.

ALUKON has been part of the Hörmann Group since 2013. ALUKON produces at two production sites based in Konradsreuth and Haigerloch.
