Since the foundation of the independent subsidiary HEGLA Maschinenbau in 1990 at its then location in Droßdorf, the branch has produced storage and transport frames for the glass and window industry. It has also assembled glass transport attachments for lorries and commercial vehicles, as well as manufactured systems for glass processing. With a more than 70-strong workforce, HELGA, with its current head office in Kretzschau, has formed a centre of excellence for PVCU storage and enjoys a great reputation both at home and abroad.
